SUCKS to be SICK.....

OMG update. LOL ---video games--- Nov. 20th, 2007 @ 01:22 am
Okay so its been a ... uhm ... very long time sins I posted something here. ^_^;

Been drawing my comic again, and posted another page, and got the next page inked so i can color it soon.

Just need to complain and rant a bit about some video games and stuf.
Anyway, Halo3 was rather disappointing, it still does not even come close to the first game. sure its all smooth and shiny, with large explosions. But the story is kinda scattered and the difficulty fluctuates way to much going from good to hard to easy to extreme and the final level is the easiest in the game. Duh.... not very balanced. The level design for the story is good though, with enough diversity to stay interesting. Don't get me wrong its still lots of good fun to play. The thing where it really gets disappointing when you play online, as the level design in the online level (not the story co-op but the death-match maps) are boring, small, uninspired and half of the maps are not even available in ranked matches (slayer modes). And it automatically pops up the different game modes like 'rocket launchers only' and 'shotty-snipe' (shotgun and sniper rifle only) way to often. Which is very annoying and takes that last bit of fun out after several hours online play. I'm just puzzled why the game gets high scores EVERYwhere as the game has some serious shortcomings. but I guess most game sites and mags are just ass-lickers to get 1-up with the developers. Still not saying its a bad game, just NOT worth the GINOURMOUS hype and people saying its revolutionizing the gaming industry like the first Halo brought about. To much could have done a LOT better.

okay enough about Halo3....

YAY, Acecombat6 !!!
Damn I love that game series. ^_^ (except for Ace combat Z.)
The game looks awesome and with the special Hory Flightstick 2 plays great, though I do have to say that the deadspot on the flight control stick is TOO big, taking a bit to get used to. played through the game with all the extra difficulties and collecting all medals. which in my opinion was a good challenge without getting frustratingly hard to where you want to throw the controller at the TV screen. I like the working cockpit where most gages function, to bad they did not put the radar on the radar monitor in the cockpit view, with all the other stuf working even the legs moving when controlling yaw motion (foot pedals for the tail rodder). Is still an arcade flight-sim with over 250 missiles on the plane. LOL But with just as many targets its fun to just blast away without going back to bace every 6 missiles. Its how the game has always been though this one takes it one step further putting twice as many missiles as any previous game in the series on the plane. You do need it because the missions have almost tripled in duration with multiple objectives and tons of enemies. and if you do run out you can go back to bace 9 out of 10 times to re-equip your plane. I love the ingame atmosphere with almost 'macross-like' missiles-trail and airplane-contrails filling the sky. and the radio chatter during the missions. The story itself is not very innovative and the cut scenes between missions you only want to watch once, as that is kinda lame and voice acting rather sucky. I oddly have not played online as that was not really something I was looking forward to for it. and having read how it is to play online it didn't really get me in the mood to do so. Flighing towards a group of dogfighting planes and then firing your SP-weapon in the hope that they will hit something out there.
I love the game (being an Acecombat nut like me probably helps. LOL) yes they have to fly through the tunnel stuf as always and the BIG old airship to destroy, but it still gives a sens of achievement when you fly full throttle through tunnels or finally blow up the big airships at the end of the mission.

More recently been playing 'Call of Duty 4'.
The story I rather short but nicely done. If that was why you wanted the game without playing online then you be rather disappointed. this game took me only about 6 or 7 hours to play through the first time. yeah its that short, and not much to go back for other then a harder difficulty. the online in this game is good but again some of the level design in the online modes is rather lame. but with a whole bunch of levels strait out of the box when you play online without having to download (or wait for some downloads) there mare more then enough good and decent levels. a good selection of weapons which can be obtained in a kind of RPG stile leveling system where you get better weapons the higher your game rank gets. which is both nice and annoying. When you just got the game and join in with the online play, you only have the weaker weapons making it rather unfair when they cap you with ease cause they have the better weapons, add-ons and abilities. Leveling up goes rather quick and ofter a few hours play you have some decent shit to hold your own (if you are good enough). Lobbies are mostly random but you get in a game quick... unlike Halo3 where you sometimes wait 2 minutes just to get into a game lobby.

though the game that impressed me the most the last few months was the 'the Orange Box'.
Basically its: Halflife 2, Halflife 2 episode one, Halflife 2 episode two, Portal and team-fortress 2.
Me not yet having played the Halflife 2 games before (played halflife 2 a few levels on the old Xbox before but did not finish it) this was an awesome gaming experience, playing all the Halflife 2 games (so far) in one go. The good balance between puzzle and action and decent voice acting and great story-line. Made this VERY enjoyable. The other 2 games that come in the box are a nice addition and sure add a ton of extra hours to this game pack. Portal is a very innovative and humorous teleport/portal based puzzle game. Not very long but certainly a challenge to the brain. Team fortress 2, is as they say a 'stylised' online shooter, with again a good sens of humor and solid gameplay.

Tomorrow I'm picking up 'Mass effect'. A SiFi RPG from Bioware, the makers of 'Knights of the old republic' and its getting some rather high reviews just about every where I poke around for it. Hope fully it turn out as well as they say it is. This will mean that it will take a bit before I get the next page of my comic ready as I'll be rather buzy with this for a few days maybe a week or 2 if its actually good. ^_^

Thats enough typing for the rest of the year. LOL, just kidding.

Anyway.... Happy thanks giving thingy, day off or whatever its supposed to be for all of you... Still need to get used to a bunch of those American traditions and stuf. ^_^

Time is running OUT.......... Apr. 2nd, 2007 @ 12:50 pm
Less then 2 months to go till my immigration to the US and just over 2 and a half months till my wedding.... O_o things are getting hectic, need this, cancel that, go here, drop stuf off there...ugh..

technical stuf .... Jan. 29th, 2007 @ 02:59 am
still working on this one but here be a sneaky preview of the 'Andora' a ship which is gonna play a big role in the comic. here is a bit of technical drawing i'm working on to get myself a good refference to be able to draw it more easely and more accurately. lol yeah its very time consuming but its the most acurate why to make sure all sides are gonna mach. » venting....
just have to get this off my chest....

I HATE MY ANTS FRIEND, THE BETTER I KNOW HIM THE MORE I SEE WHAT AN ASSHOLE HE FUCKING IS.....

arrr... I guess I owe a you all a little explanation....

first off... He's generally loud, anoying and has often got alot of big storries, usually filled with racist remarks.
He has a shop that sels and lays carpets and stuf. My brother got his own appartment a few months ago and the weekend I left to be with my girl (may 13/14), he had layed the carpet in my bro's appartment. As he had told him he'd make a nice price and cause he is a profecional he would help with what is best to get for what he needs. also he would fix the shades for the window. nothing wrong with that you'd say... yeah........ untill you see the result. >_< It looked like a rush job.

to just put all of it in a list, this is kinda what happened after wards.
.The rail for the shades where not hung strait. so the rails looks and is bend.
.He drilled a wrong hole which clearly shows ans used to long scruwes, pushing the panel a bit down from the celing which shows.
.Carpet started rippling, okay, thats nothing new happens more often.
.So he came back to fix the carpet, and in doing so he was messy and made stains in the carpet.
.He came back to clean out the stains, and it got less visible but the stains where still there and seemed just more spread out.
.He advised him to use some cemical product to temove the stain with and left him some. it did not do much to clean it and when we looked around for more of it we where told that the stuf (cause of its cemical propperties) was not produced no more. got other stuf that still did not remove the stains.
.the underfloor for damping and stuf is made a hard plates which he said was better for his floor, and cheaper. (and also easier to lay) asking around, again proved that softer rubber matting was better but a bit more expensive, but not close as expensive as he said it would be.. only if you would use the more expensive brand, and there is not much difference in quallity.
.My bro called him about when he could have a talk with him, just for him to come over and talk about what he wanted to do about all that. where he told my bro that he was ocupied till next week maybe monday. for just a little talk. O_o
.My dad got very pissed of and called him, and suddenly he clould lay in all new carpet and stuf this wednsday evening. which was not good as that would mean another rush job.

So now he will relay new carpet and new underfloor next week thusday. when He will have the whole day to do it.
If he will fuck up again he'll just have to take it all out again and we'll have it done by a tru professional. >_<

*sigh* okay...... I feel better now.

I hope thing go a bit better, cause that is the 3de setback he had from others who fuck things over for him.
first not being told the whole heating was removed and would cost him to install new stuf for that, then the one who failed to mention that, did not reply to any of his letter, now this. though he has had compensation for it now he had to thretten with sending the union over before that happened.
He should have been able to move in over a month again had all that crap not happened.

anyway... just had to get it out.......
» UPDATE !!! ... >_> about time I guess... ^_^; and MUSICal tast

Things are going okay I guess not great, just somewhere in the middle...... have not been able to really get something decent lines on paper, sinds my grandma passed away... BLA.. sucks... things start comming but I just don't seem to be satisfed with it, and know I can do better.

anyway, work has been a bit more 'normal' the past few weeks, not to much overtime and an accepteble work load. work as it should be. except for a few mayor breakdowns ^_^; yeah it seems like things just can't stay together at work. things get fixed till the next thing breakes. its been like that ever sinds I started and don't think it will change.

was poking at my list of mp3 music on my computer looking for a pice of music that kinda got lost in the big pile of mp3's on here.... and me not being able to remember names. >_>;
poking all the tracks, I was kinda wondering what tracks I like most. though sadly the one track I like most I don't have and dont know the name either *snif* I have it on an old casette somewhere but that probably is not very crisp in sound no-more, old trance track I was and still am totally nuts about.
but for what I could find I kinda made a little list. (PS if you are interested and have amail box which can resive 10mb files, just let me know if you wanna hear stuf from the list.. should all be decent quality. (about 192bpm)though cause of good quality stuf a few are to big to send ^_^; )

first of trance.. damn sweee~~~t trance... if I may say so myself. XD

Evanessence "going under"
Linkin Park "Breaking the habit"
Linkin Park "numb"

okay I guess that's kinda the thing I like in my music, I think most of the trance/dance tracks probably won't sound very familiar. ^_^

been kinda expecting this day for quite a while but the suffering finally ended today...
My grandma deid this afternoon, her condition was getting worse and worse eversinds she went to hospital with pnumonia last september/ october, which they expected to be TBC. That it luckely was not but it did mark the beginning of the end. with some medical stuf they tryed to make her better but with every improvement she draped back down even further afterwards. the last few days she was getting low dose of morphine, to soften the pain.

I feel like shit.... even though I have been wanting the suffering to stop it still hits like a brick wall when you hear the news. we are still all rather relaxed about it and as I said we have seen it comming for a long time.

I don't know what more to say ...

She has been a strong person refusing to let go of live with all the setback she had for so long. she got 86 if I remember corectly...
